This Secretary
Bird, which appeared almost to be dancing,
may have been attempting to dodge a snake
which it had pounced upon and missed. Mating
or territorial defense has been ruled out
because this tpye of activity has been sighted
on occasions when no other birds of the
same species are in the area.
