In the wild
Andean Condors get a steady supply of food
from dying domestic cattle. The areas they
occupy are so wild that farmers only gather
their herds once a year and are not around
to assist if an animal becomes sick. Neither
are they there to bury dead cattle. In captivity
birds are primarily fed a specially-developed
                                    'Bird of Prey' food.
